June 1 to July 15, 2023 - $129

July 16 to September 30, 2023 - $149

October 1, 2023 to January 13, 2024 - $169

January 14 to March 9, 2024 - $189 


Coaching Passes: $20 per session. Passes available for purchase at the event. Coaches must be 2024 USA Powerlifting members and present USA Powerlifting card  to receive pass. Each registered team receives 2 free coaching passes, good for all days and sessions. Any school that enters a boys and girls team will automatically be entered into the combined (boys + girls) team competition, granting the school a total of 6 coaches passes for all days and sessions.


Team Competition: Must be a registered club with USA Powerlifting. Each team must submit a team roster giving the name of each lifter and their bodyweight category. These details must be submitted to the meet director on April 3 (JV) or April 3 or 4 (varsity teams).   A boys team is composed of up to 9 lifters and a girls team is composed of up to 8 lifters. There cannot be more than 2 competitors from any one team in any one body weight category.  Only the point scores of the five best placed lifters of each team will be counted for the boys and girls team competition. Combined team scoring will be based upon taking up to the top five scoring men and up to the top five scoring women from the men’s and women’s team rosters. A scoring member must place in the top 10.


Team Competition and Roster Submission

Team registration and roster submission on site, prior to the start of lifting. Payable by check or card only. Checks to be made out to “Cajun Prep Powerlifting”.  JV team registration and roster submission is available on April 3. Varsity team registration and roster submission is available on April 3 and 4. Team must show proof of 2023 USAPL club registration. Coaches must present at team registration and  current USA Powerlifting members to receive free passes.

Freshman and sophomores (grades 9 and 10, respectively) may choose to compete in either the junior varsity (JV) or varsity (V) division provided they have achieved the appropriate qualifying total for the division they enter. Juniors and seniors (grades 11 and 12, respectively) may only compete in the varsity division and must have achieved the appropriate varsity qualifying total.


*Athletes are allowed to change the weight class they registered for, provided the athlete qualifies in
the new class and the new class does not compete on a day that has already been capped. If an athlete
changes to a weight class that competes on a day that has already been capped, the athlete will
compete on the day of his/her original weight class as a Guest Lifter.

Please note that competitors must have achieved the USA Powerlifting qualifying total in a USA Powerlifting Sanctioned Competition between Jan 1st of the year before the event is to happen through the registration deadline to enter this championship. Please also note that if you wish to go down in weight class you will need to RE-QUALIFY in your new weight class by the entry deadline. >> Qualifying Totals<<

Schedule and Meet Cap: Each day of the event has a set schedule and a meet cap. Each day may reach its individual cap before other days of the event. If any day reaches 50% of the daily cap prior to December 1, entry for that day will be frozen until registration re-opens on December 1. 

*Teen/Jr Committee meeting at 7 PM in the event ballroom. All coaches are invited.

*Athletes are allowed to change the weight class they registered for, provided the athlete qualifies in the new class and the new class does not compete on a day that has already been capped. If an athlete changes to a weight class that competes on a day that has already been capped, the athlete will compete on the day of his/her original weight class as a Guest Lifter.
